I am about to start drilling holes in my new Tarpon 160 but hear there is going to be a console released. What is the release date and what will be the approximate cost.
Thanks

I’m checking with the product development team on the latest details. There are a number of things in the works. Will post a reply as soon as I receive a response.

I was wondering if Scotty or Ram Mounts will be designing any accessories for the trax system on the new Tarpons.

It appears that the Slide trax system is an idea ahead of the rigging manufactures. Very few products have been formulated to accomodate this system or at least they have not been released to the public. I know I am one of those customers that just purchased a 2009 Tarpon in part due to the Slide trax system. It has been frustrating to search rigging supplier websites and not find any products for the system.
For those searching, I have found a you-tube video from Mad frog that describes a center consule and side boards that have been designed to fit the Slide trax system. Fishfinders and Scotty products then can be attached to the boards. They also show a side board with a transducer that can be rotated along side the kayak. These adaptation however do not yet appear on their website as such. I think as customers we deserve some feedback from Wilderness Systems on what to expect for the future since we invested in the Tarpon Line.

Thanks for the info regarding the new slidetrax accessories. Not sure if this is in the works or not but some sort of bimini top that attached to the back trax would be great. Just a thought.

Please, I would like to know when we are going to be able to buy Tarpon’s new line in Europe.
Several companions of fishing in Spain are very interested in these new models.
Also we would like to know where we can obtain more information of the angler models (Already I have the photo of the tarpon 120 angler, but I need more information about the others models).
Thank you.

Arturo, I have sent your request to one of our international partners, they should be contacting you in the near future about your interest in the 2009 Tarpon line. Thank you for your inquiry.

Hi.
I’ve been eagerly waiting for your new website so I can really see the 2009 Tarpon 160i instead of the preliminary images that have been floating around on the ‘net. Right now, we can only guess how the Tarpons will look in the colors that are available. Your chart of color samples is not enough compared to seeing the kayak in its various permutations, especially with camo. so will you show each model in its different available colors on the new website? That helps make the buying/ordering decision process easier, particularly if a dealer does not have all of the colors in stock. Thanks.
