2009 Tarpons Shipping Now!
The fully-redesigned 2009 Tarpon Series is now available! Check with your local Wilderness Systems dealer for more information.
The ultimate all-around sit on top kayak gets a major redesign for the 2009 season. We’ve painstakingly overhauled every detail for improved performance, comfort, and rigging capability. We’ve even revolutionized the scupper tube design through a new patent-pending process for unmatched water tightness.
The all-new Tarpon offers improved performance by enhancing the bow lift for gliding through the surf and significantly increased tankwell size for more storage. Raised floors offer an even drier ride in the seating area. The real headliner, though, is the improvement of the total paddling experience made possible by a series of outfitting and deck innovations.

Will these new hatches be available on the Ride 135 also? Also can the tracks go on the Ride 135 as well? Possibly a retrofit?

I would just like to say that I fished from my new Tarpon 160 this morning and it handles really well. The new console from Mad Frog Gear is really great. I way 200lbs and fully rigged with a 5 gal bucket full of water with live bait, rods, FF, Battery, Ice Chest, Marine Radio, and all of my tackle when I pulled the scupper plugs no water enterdd the boat. It actually drained the little bit of water that got into the cockpit from my wading boots. All in all a great kayak, I just need to get a rudder for the windy days.
Good jog WS. Lets just get the new website up and running and some accessories available for the trax system.

I am thinking about adding some of my own accessories to the slide trax. Where can I get the T-Nuts that slide under the trax to attach accessories. I also need the hex head nuts.

I’m going to buy that Tarpon 140 right now! How much the angler model with rudder costs?
